Tilt & Vibration Switches

Sorenson Lighted Controls, Inc is pleased to announce the release of their new mechanical tilt switch line. Included are vertical and right angle through hole models and a new surface mount option which will withstand IR reflow soldering and washing processes. The RM series switches operate mechanically, with a tilt angles of 10 degrees or 45 degrees, and contain no mercury or other hazardous substances. They are environmentally safe for use in food equipment and consumer products. The small space saving size, (5X6X11mm), and 25mA @ 24VDC contact rating make them ideal for pc board applications where space is at a premium. Also offered is an optical version of the tilt switch which is IC compatible. It is offered with tilt angles of 15, 30, and 45 degrees and detects a tilt in a 360 degree radius. Applications include vending machines, games, appliances, portable heaters, security alarms, food equipment, children’s’ toys, and games. Pricing and samples are available upon request.
